As geeky is now cool and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) jokes are mainstream, on t-shirts and television, some might think that all the old jokes have been overused.
At the same time, many STEM professionals all over the place are being encouraged to take to social media to share their research and raise the public understanding of what they’re up to.
And the result of all this? A niche breeding ground for STEM humour on social media, supported by the professionals themselves.
So in the spirit of being open and accessible to all, I thought I would share some of the highlights of this wonderful world in its natural habitat – on Twitter. Have fun!
